Özet

Many women experience their sexuality with great reticence and in secret, as if it were something bad or dirty. Society at large views women as sexual objects—supporting players in the drama of a relationship—without acknowledging the desires, emotions, and pleasure they can experience, not merely as women, but as human beings. Both women and men fear discussing their desires and feelings; sex remains a taboo subject, relegating sexuality to the darkest corners of our minds or treating it as a topic that barely exists.
