Commissioned by Picture This (Bristol), its cinematic language has been described as lying “between that of silent film (with the inclusion of intertitles) and that of aquatic documentary with long shots of the waters of the River Avon in Bristol, but both will be somewhat uncomfortable with the length of time to which they are subjected.”
