The film creates a narrative about childhood by blending clips from classic and contemporary movies. The selected scenes depict children wandering, some appearing neglected, and others joyful. "Kids Forever" highlights the universal experiences of childhood that transcend time and culture, evoking a melancholic emotion that often forms at an early age and carries into adulthood.
